Course Overview:
This course provides practical training in precision nutrition, diet formulation, and feed manufacturing using U.S. soybeans and soybean meal. Participants will gain hands-on experience with formulation software, tour farms and feed mills, and explore emerging technologies that improve efficiency and sustainability. Led by university experts and industry professionals, this course equips attendees with the skills to optimize animal performance and maximize the value of U.S. soy.
Objectives:
- Learn the economic advantages of precision feed formulation
- Identify the various needs of different species at different stages of growth
- Learn about the advantages of U.S. soy in precision feed formulation for swine, poultry, aquaculture
- Demonstrate software and mechanical advances in precision feed formulation
- Identify ways to gain precision with current participant equipment
